What is Wicker?

Wicker has been around for a long time. It has actually been documented as far back in history as ancient Egypt. Wicker baskets have even been found in Pompeii. It was also suggested that wicker was so extensively used in the iron age that it had a drastic and profound influence on patterns that were used in Celtic art.

In modern times, wicker has been a very popular tool, especially with people who enjoy arts and crafts. Nowadays, there are both synthetic and natural wicker products available.
